Robot Teacher`s?

Went to Fresh and Easy today and I have to say it is pretty darn impressive. Automatic checkout`s baby!    No lines to wait in as all registers are being utilized at once, instead of one register for one employee. See, we can logically tell when technology is helping us save TIME and most likely contributes to greater savings. The same concept with automatic gas pumps, only cooler. There was still one employee ready to help on any one of the six lines that were being utilized at the time.
Why not the same concept in education as education costs and quality  have become a serious dilemma  in California? Well that`s exactly where technology is heading toward. We have the capability to make online movies with ease. Teachers are documenting the classes they teach, so that students can review and completely learn the subject with the help of prerecorded videos via a youtube.com type platform. It even gets more advanced. With a system like webex.com a teacher can interactively meet a group of students and work directly off a white board on a geometry problem ,watch a video from the youtube.com within webex.com, and see each other face to face all at the same time! All while the students are still eating breakfast and in there pajamas! Pretty difficult to have a bullying problem with this sort of system! The links below are real programs and organizations utilizing this awesome and inevitable technology advancement.
